My Afternoon Baking

My Afternoon Baking

Hello, my lovely.

Today I stayed home and spent a quiet afternoon doing one of my favourite things... baking.

I've always admired the beautiful creations of the wonderful French pâtissier, Pierre Hermé, so today I decided to make an Ispahan Entremet, inspired by one of his most famous desserts. The delicate flavours of rose, raspberry and lychee come together so beautifully, and it was every bit as lovely to make as it was to enjoy.

There is something so peaceful about spending an afternoon in the kitchen, taking my time with each little detail and watching something beautiful slowly come to life.

Tutu, of course, stayed close by the whole time, patiently hoping that a tiny crumb might find its way to the floor. I don't think he was disappointed.

Some afternoons are filled with adventures, and others are best spent at home creating something with love. Today was one of those days, and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I hope you found a little moment of happiness in your day too.

Until tomorrow,

Love,

Arabella 🎀
