My Favourite Time of Day

Hello, my lovely,

This morning I woke to the most gloriously warm day. The sunshine poured through my bedroom windows, filling the room with a beautiful golden light, and I knew it was going to be one of those peaceful days that feels like a little gift.

Mornings have always been my favourite time of day. Before the world becomes busy, everything feels wonderfully calm. I love opening the windows, listening to the birds singing outside, and enjoying those first quiet moments with a warm cup of tea.

I spent most of today at home, happily moving from one room to another, reading for a while, arranging fresh flowers, and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Sometimes the loveliest days are the ones where there is nowhere you need to be.

Later in the afternoon, Tutu and I wandered into the garden together. She happily explored every little corner while I admired the roses and the gentle breeze that carried their sweet fragrance through the air. We sat together for a while beneath the trees, enjoying the sunshine and the stillness around us.

It reminded me that happiness isn't always found in extraordinary adventures. Sometimes it's waiting quietly in the warmth of the morning sun, the company of someone you love, and a beautiful garden on a perfect day.
